Bonnie Cline Textor

March 24, 1944 - September 14, 2021

On September 14, 2021, Bonnie Cline Textor passed away leaving us with a substantial loss to mourn and many beautiful memories to celebrate. She was in her 78th year. Bonnie was born in Stillwell, KS on March 24, 1944, to Dolly and Andrew Cline. Her formative years were in Stilwell where she attended school and later Van Horn High School in Independence, MO. Bonnie married and was blessed with two boys, Robert and Anthony. In 1966 the family move to Pasadena, CA where she attended Pasadena City College. Bonnie raised her sons on her own giving them a strict but loving upbringing. Working as an administrator at Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Pasadena she met her soulmate, George Textor, the Mission Director of the Voyager Program at JPL with whom she married in 1980 and then shared 41 years of a happy marriage. Bonnie was always seeking to improve herself in every aspect of her life, while married to George she attended the School of Business Management at the University of Southern California. She an George loved life together, enjoying golf, traveling, reading and built a substantial wine collection. Bonnie’s effervescent personality captured the adoration of all she met, friends for a lifetime. Perhaps the most endearing quality of Bonnie was her generosity, she was the ultimate “giver” of herself and no one left her home without something, a bag of lemons or a stuffed animal for their dog. Bonnie was kind, patient, humble and compassionate, facing life with optimism, determination, and joy. Bonnie’s humor knew no boundaries teasing her family with surprise trips or fun games at home, together with playing tricks on everyone. Bonnie was not only a strong and selfless woman, but also a loyal and faithful friend to so many. No wife could be more devoted to her husband than Bonnie was to George. He was her “sugar bear”. In addition to her parents, she is now united with George who preceded her in death only six months prior on March 28, 2021. Bonnie is survived by her sons, Robert Vidmar and Anthony Vidmar (Poki); and her sister Kathy Richards. Services will be held at Riverside Arlington National Cemetery on October 18, 2021, at 12 noon. Memorial gifts may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinson.org)
