Harold Arthur Burden

September 22, 1947 - April 15, 2020

Harold Arthur Burden was called home on April 15th, 2020. He was born in Plymouth, Michigan on September 22, 1947 to Marion and Vern Burden. He was the baby of the family with 2 sisters, one who is deceased Ardith Byars, and Sylvia Jividen who resides in Ohio. Harold married the love of his life Irene Burden on April 15th 1967. They enjoyed their life together with their children; Richard Burden (married Melody Fisher Burden) Apple Valley, Ca and Christina Harris (married William Harris), Apple Valley, Ca. He had a total of 4 grandchildren Richie, Heather, Kaylee, and Alexander. He had 2 great grandchildren Hayley and Cody. Harold selflessly served his country in the Air Force for 22 years and spent 1 year in the Vietnam War (68-69). He retired a respected Tsgt at Norton Air Force Base in 1988. He was a lifetime member at the VFW post 2924. Harold later on became a reserve police officer for the city of San Bernardino, Ca. He enjoyed volunteering his time to keep the city safe, and to lend a helping hand to his community. Harold, above all of these things was a wonderful dad and an excellent husband to Irene for 53 years. To know my dad was to love him. Daddy, you're missed every single hour and minute of the day. We love you and our prayer is that we get to see you again one day. Harolds military honor service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518) July 25th at 10:45am.
