Mary Anel Lockwood

Mary Anel Lockwood, 82, a resident of Newberry Springs CA, passed away December 14, 2021, with family by her side. She was born on September 24, 1939, to her parents John Larry Williams and Mary M Williams. She was last married to Charles E Lockwood and is survived by her brother Rodger Williams and sister Sue Williams, along with her children Richard Lee Robertson, Carol Maire Robertson, Tracy Joe Roberson, Jack Lockwood, and Jeff Lockwood. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Mary Anel worked at Barstow Hospital for many years. She was loved by so many and dedicated her life to helping others by volunteering at senior center in Newberry Springs and even offered counseling and care to hospice patients, allowing her being there with them in their final moments. She was an angel to all, and she will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion in Newberry Springs. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Riverside at a later time. A Greater Mom there never was…
