Timothy E. Belcher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Timothy Belcher was born in California and loved it so much he came back and spent his last years here. Surprising to me, my dad was a definite Beach Boy, he surfed as a teen, don't know how good he was but he enjoyed the beach and was a surfer boy. He was drafted into the Vietnam War where he received a Purple Heart and was released with an honorable medical discharge, he never talked about it when I was a kid, but he was definitely proud to be a Marine. He LOVED music, especially the oldies, which I guess weren't oldies to him. One of his high school friends called him Mr. E, I asked why and she said because he knew everything; I thought the E was for Encyclopedia. Even before YouTube and with only a high school education my Dad knew a lot and fixed just about anything. He even taught me how to change a tire and the oil in a car. He enjoyed traveling and made sure to introduce a love for it to his kids and it has even been passed onto a few grand kids. His love for Disney (he enjoyed going as a kid and took us twice) and love for the ocean was passed on to his kids. He is survived by his two daughters, Elisa Zakrzewski and her husband Ed and his youngest Angyl Wisemessenger and her husband, Holland Purcell. His Grandchildren, Alana (m.Daryl), Vashni (m. Bryton), Kaszyna (m. Tarik), Staszek, and Janek plus Amadeus and Wolfgang Purcell along with 3 great grandchildren and a fourth on the way. Dad you will be missed.
