Wanetta England

January 5, 1941 - March 10, 2022

Surrounded by love and her family, Wanetta Louise England, better known as Bonnie England, of Riverside, California, age 81, passed away at home on March 10, 2022, after a short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was born January 5, 1941, in Bloomington, Illinois, the oldest daughter of Robert Bert and Betty Darlene Campbell. On September 24, 1960, she was joined in marriage to the love of her life and soulmate Gene England after meeting him on a blind date on April 1, 1960. Bonnie was a retired instructional aide for special education, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She loved being a grandma, traveling, camping, riding motorcycles, the mountains, coloring, crocheting, crafting, caring for her plants, spending time with her family - especially the grandkids, and eating M&Ms. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bert and Betty Campbell, her son Richard England, her grandsons Chance and Chase Blanton, and grandchild Baby Storey. Bonnie is survived by Gene England, her husband of almost 62 years; sister Barbara Addison of Valley Falls, KS; sister-in-law Bronice Steele of Springfield, MO; children Tina Storey of Riverside, Ca; Robert England of Sacramento, Ca; Teri and Mark Blanton of Hemet, CA; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two nieces. Bonnie will be remembered most for her love of life, determination, selflessness, bravery, and determination to face and overcome all she lived through during her life. A memorial service will be held at Arlington Mortuary on Friday, April 15th at 10:00 am, followed by interment at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:15 pm.
